Just Another Manic Monday.....
I have the Bangles song in my head today. Another Monday, another new work week. For all you fellow teachers out there, you're either back to school (glad its not me) or getting ready to go back (like I've been).
This past weekend I took a much needed break from curriculum training to relax and SCRAP! I met up with 9 other women at the Hamburg Hideaway. It's a GREAT scrapbook retreat house equipped with everything you need to get SCRAPHAPPY!
I had a blast, met some great people, and got A LOT of layouts done! Here are some of the layouts I created this weekend....
Got to use the fun chipboard shapes from Pebbles, the new Jenni Bowlin ledger tags, and I used an EK Success border punch for the bottom...
I made a double page layout using my stash of Fancy Pants' About A Boy line and I made these fun pinwheels that Beth showed me how to do...
and THIS page took me FOREVER! I liked the patchwork look I saw on a pagemap but needed to make it a pocket so I could "smuggle" some more pictures on the layout...LOVE the Bazzill stitchez templates for hand-stitching on a page!
'til next time,
Tiffany

Jazzing Up Your Chipboard!
Here are a few ways to jazz up your chipboard:
I've had this chipboard flower forever! I decided to cover it with paper, ink it, and then use a button for the center.
For this frame, I covered it with paper, and then inked and stamped on it. For the little person, I inked him made him an outfit out of different paper.

And the Winner is....
Congrats to Amy Bender!!! I have a special little surprise for you so please email me with your snail mail address! Thanks everybody for your comments. We'll have another little giveaway soon!
And I couldn't leave you without a layout I did this weekend! I had a great time cropping with some ladies at the store. Even though I had a little froggy in my throat it is so nice to get out for some girly time!

Summer is Almost Over...
Yikes! We've only got about two more weeks here until school starts. I know because the principal called last night...no we aren't in trouble! We have an automated system in our school district that calls all the families to let them know of upcoming events. The principal called last night to remind us there are only a few more summer days left.
So in honor of the end of no deadlines, no schedules and family vacations, here's a few layouts I did using Scraptacular's awesome kit of the month for August.

Bo Bunny bonanza
Happy Monday, everyone! I survived all the rain this weekend (and a loss of power) and I'm ready for the SUNSHINE (it just might be a pool day)!
At the end of last week I discovered that Bo Bunny had posted their new design team. I REALLY wanted to get a submission in for this great opportunity...but I got the submission deadline mixed up and missed it. OH WELL! There's always next year. The bright side is that I got a lot of layouts completed using their fun products. So...in honor of Bo Bunny...here's some fun layouts I've created recently:
This is my newest layout using their older "U Bug Me!" collection
This layout I created using a Page Map and their fun Popsicle line (with some hand-stitching for the circles)
Using their papers I tried to make it look like the pictures were hanging from the top of the page (and I added some hidden journaling so I didn't overcrowd the page)
more Popsicle yumminess....
...and a layout using Bo Bunny's Calypso papers
And, finally, for a mini-album idea using Bo Bunny's Calypso and Fancy Pants' Multi-media Bracket album,
(sneak peek) check out It's Scraptacular's Project thread in the Forum!
'til next time,
Tiffany
