I have recently discovered that scrappy blogs are a GREAT place to find creative inspiration. They're free (unlike those pesky magazine subscriptions) and they are easy to find. I even broke down and created one.
The gals on the Scraptacular Forum have provided me with a lot of eye candy, and they've got endless amounts of it on their blogs. Check 'em out....

Some Three Bugs in a Rug!!
Hi! Rachael here!
I got to play with some Three Bugs in a Rug papers this month.
The colors are so fun! They go really well with other manufacturer products as well, like October Afternoon papers and stickers and Sassafras Lass stickers!! Don't forget to throw in some Maya Road sheer journaling tags with it too!!
After having 3 feet plus of snow, many of us folks here in PA have been asking for spring to come!! I am not excluded in this thought!! I found this picture that I took at a furniture store when my husband and I went on a weekend getaway for our 10th anniversary last year. When I saw it, I knew I needed to use it for a "bring on spring" layout! Doesn't the October Afternoon flower border strip go great with the papers?
Here's a layout of my daughter, Macy. I love this picture that was taken in September. She's sitting on a play set at a campground! The Sassafras Lass dimensional flower stickers went with the Three Bugs papers great too! I threw in a Maya Road sheer tag too. I love to use their decorative journal tags as embellishment without any journaling on them too!
This is my big, little guy, Jack, on his 5th birthday last September. Again, I threw in some Sassafras Lass stickers with this (they are my favorite!) and some October Afternoon as well! I pop dotted my balloons and used Stickles to draw the strings.
I hope this gives you some inspiration!! Thanks for looking!

Mask It, Mist It
i recently received some beautiful 3 Bugs In A Rug papers from the Scraptacular store and couldn't wait to put them to use. my only problem was the pictures i wanted to use were older and had lots of background clutter and the focus was not where i felt it needed to be... on my babies. so, i came up with a plan to make the pictures stand out more and to cut off some of the background.
first i gathered my "misting box", some misting spray, some precut circles and a neutral cardstock base.
next i placed the circles on my page in the design i wanted them, then i misted the paper and circles with glimmer mist.
here is what the paper looked like after the circles were removed... this could be the start of so many pretty pages... i love how you can change this up in so many different ways just by placing the circles in different designs.
here is the finished page... bath 4 two... these 2 are about 10 years older now... wow... how time flies!
i hope you will peek around in the store for great deals on these cute papers and other fun scrappy supplies! have the best day~~ Lisa

I scored a stack of yummy yummy scrappy paper. I also got some great deals in the bins Beth has of bargain paper. I couldn't believe it...Fancy Pants and Prima in the "bargain bins"?!?! REALLY!?!? I got Fancy Pants' On a Whimsy, All Fall, and Delight...some of my favorites! I'm in 7th Heaven and can't wait to start digging-in to it all. I also scored some of the NEW THICKERS that just came in!!! WOO HOO!

Madly in Love with....
Today is a special holiday for everyone!!! Yes, even for YOU too!!
It is Madly in Love with You Day!
February 13th has been declared as such to celebrate self love, appreciation, and acceptance for who YOU are as an autonomous person. Yes, YOU are a special person and YOU mean something!
Ok, It does sound a bit "different," but it does have so much merit and worth when you think about it. Also, think about how we, as scrapbookers can incorporate this into our work. When was the last time you sat down and created a Layout or piece of Art all about YOU? Hmmmmmm???
When the February Kit arrived in my hot little hands to play with I honestly was perplexed as to what to do with the Little Yellow Bicycle "10 Things I Love About You" Embellishment. I thought about using it for one of my children, but was torn as to which one. Then my husband was an option, but it just wasn't working for me. Sorry dear! My cat? umm..no. It became almost like a mission to figure out a way in which to use it. I kept thinking and finally thought, "Wait! What about me?" Yeah, me. Ok, I can make a Layout, but what to write on all those little cards! The agony!! Things about me?? What did I set myself up for? What do I say? I would tell you, but honestly they are rather personal...
So what do YOU love about yourself? Think about it!! It is a challenging thing to ponder, but in the end, it is so very worthwhile..
